The Smithton Chamber of Commerce was organized in March 2007 by four professional women. These women are owners or managers of businesses here in Smithton. They are volunteering their time, doing their best to build a successful chamber, while continuing to operate their own businesses. They are also part of a civic organization, the Smithton Commercial Club, and realize the necessity of a chamber in this thriving community. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month.
